Spicy Ramen Eggs

Soft-boiled ramen eggs are undoubtedly the greatest ramen topping of all time. This recipe will take your ramen eggs to a whole new level.

Marinated eggs add a delicious layer of salty, umami flavor to your basic boiled egg. But beware: the spicy marinade has four different types of spice!

Spicy Ramen Eggs

Start off with a soft-boiled egg. If you don't know how to make a jammy ramen egg, here's how. While the egg is cooking, make your spicy marinade by combining – in a large plastic bag – dark soy sauce, chili oil crisp, chili oil, Thai chilies, gochugaru, sugar and water.

When the eggs are cool enough to touch, peel and add into the marinade. Leave in the fridge for at least an hour before enjoying your tasty spicy ramen egg!

Serve in a ramen bowl with all your favorite toppings, or just eat as a tasty snack. We don't blame you if you eat them all in one sitting! Here's how to make a simple soy-marinated ramen egg.
