  • 1 Mike's Mighty Good Kimchi Ramen Soup
  • 2 tbsp Mother-In-Law's Gochujang Sauce
  • 1/2 lb tender beef prime cut ( thinly sliced )
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 quail egg
  • 1/4 cup purple cabbage ( shredded )
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cucumber

  1. In a skillet, add cooking oil over medium heat. Saute the spinach until it is cooked. Drizzle sesame oil over the spinach and season with a pinch of salt and set aside.
  2. Add oil to the pan and cook the quail egg sunny side up.
  3. To make the sauce for the beef, mix the sesame gochujang, soy sauce and brown sugar.
  4. Next, add the ground beef to the skillet. Add in the gochujang mixture and cook until beef is coated in the sauce.
  5. Shred the purple cabbage and slice the radishes. Next, using a vegetable peeler, slice the cucumber lengthwise into long, thin ribbons. When you reach the seeds and core of the cucumber, switch sides. Toss out the core.
  6. Bring 1 ¾ cups water to boil. Add dried ramen. Boil for 2 minutes.
  7. Remove saucepan from heat, stir in flavor pack and oil. Transfer ramen into a bowl.
  8. Top off with beef, quail egg, purple cabbage, radishes, cucumber ribbons and shredded carrots. Drizzle with more sesame gochujang to taste. Enjoy!
