Description

Dumplings + ramen = PERFECTION! We've been missing seafood ramen from our favorite ramen bars so we decided to make these shrimp dumplings. They pair perfectly with our fried garlic chicken ramen and some chili oil!

Ingredients

  • 1 Mike's Mighty Good Fried Garlic Chicken Ramen Pillow Pack
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 pound shrimp (chopped)
  • 1 pack wonton or dumpling wrappers
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp mined ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • cooking oil
  • chili oil (optional)
  • black sesame seeds (garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add shrimp, pork, cabbage, 1 stalk green onion, ginger, sesame oil, mirin, salt & pepper. Mix together until well combined.
  2. Add filling to the center of each wrapper. Using your finger or a brush, wet the edges of the wrappers with water, then fold them in half and join the bottom corners together. Repeat until you've used all the filling.
  3. Over medium-high heat, add 1-2 tbsp of oil to coat the bottom. Pan fry dumplings about 2 minutes, then add enough water to fill the bottom of the pan. Cover with a lid and steam for a few minutes.
  4. Remove dumplings from the pan and drizzle with chili oil if desired. Add as many dumplings as desired in step 5 and store the rest in the refrigerator!
  5. Prepare fried garlic chicken ramen according to package instructions and transfer to a bowl. Add dumplings, remaining green onion, black sesame seeds, and more chili oil if desired.
  6. Enjoy!
