Japanese Spicy Creamy Carbonara

Indulge in the tantalizing flavors of Japanese Spicy Creamy Carbonara with this easy-to-follow recipe. Combining the savory goodness of MMG Kimchi Ramen with a creamy twist, in just a few simple steps, you can create a delightful and unique fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine.

Japanese Creamy Spicy Carbonara

Start by preparing the MMG Kimchi Ramen. In a microwavable container, add hot water and the ramen noodles. Allow them to cook for approximately 5 minutes, and then drain the water, ensuring to keep around 2-3 tablespoons of the ramen water. Next, add the minced garlic, chopped bacon, and half of the MMG kimchi soup base (about ½ bag) to the container. Mix everything together.

Place the container back in the microwave and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until the bacon is cooked through. While the organic noodles are cooking, take a small bowl and combine the egg yolk with the milk, whisking them together until well mixed.

Once the noodles are cooked, remove the container from the microwave and pour the egg and milk mixture over the noodles. Give it a good stir, ensuring that the creamy mixture coats the noodles evenly. The heat from the noodles will lightly cook the egg yolk, creating a luscious and silky texture.

To add a final touch of flavor and texture, sprinkle furikake over the dish. Furikake is a Japanese seasoning that adds a delightful umami taste to various dishes. You can also add any other toppings you prefer, such as chopped green onions or a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
