Ramen Gyeran Bap

Gyeran bap, or egg rice, is a Korean rice bowl featuring fried eggs. In this recipe, we're doing it the Mike's Mighty Good way – using a combination of rice and, of course, noodles as the base.

Then, we jazz it up with seaweed, lettuce, green onions, and chili crisp. Get the full recipe below.

Start by cooking any flavor MMG Ramen noodles (just the noodles) according to the package instructions. Once they're done, drain the water and set them aside. In a separate bowl, mix half of the MMG soup base and seasoning oil together. This will become the flavorful foundation for this dish.

In a non-stick pan, heat a little oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the pan and cook them sunny-side up. When the eggs are nearly done, spoon some of the chili crisp over the yolks for an added kick. When they're ready, set the eggs aside.

In a large bowl, create the Gyeran Bap component of this dish. Begin by placing the cooked rice as the base. Add a generous amount of shredded lettuce for freshness and crunch. Follow this with the seasoned dry seaweed. Gently place the chili crisp-topped pan-fried eggs on top of the lettuce and seaweed. The yolks should be rich and runny, ready to blend with the other elements of the dish.

Pour the MMG Ramen base over the assembled ingredients. The mix of seasoning oil and soup base will envelop the other components, bringing that signature MMG flavor to every bite. Drizzle the soy sauce and a touch of sesame oil over the dish.

To complete the dish, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds generously over the top. Using a pair of chopsticks or a fork, gently mix all the ingredients together, ensuring the eggs, lettuce, seaweed, and noodles are evenly coated with the delectable flavors.
