How to Make Ramen Noodles in the Microwave
We all love a gourmet moment, but sometimes, when the mood strikes, you really just want something fast and delicious. In these moments, microwaving a pack of Mike's Mighty Good Ramen is exactly what you need.
To prepare your ramen in the microwave, you simply whatever Mike’s Mighty Good ramen noodles you prefer (you can use either the ramen pillow packs or the ramen noodles cups for this), some water and a microwave- of course.

How to Microwave Some Mighty Good Ramen: Soup Cup
Step 1: Prep Your Noodles
Peel off the lid of your soup cup, remove the oil and seasoning packets, and set them aside for later.
Step 2: Boil Water
In a microwave-safe glass container (preferably with a handle) boil 1-2 cups of water on the highest setting, for about 3 minutes.
Step 3: Cook Your Noodles
Carefully remove the boiling water from the microwave (using an oven mitt or a pot holder) and pour it into your noodle cup, up to the indicated fill line.
Step 4: Let Them Sit
Stir gently, and then cover the noodles and water with a plate, or some tin foil. Let it sit for about 6 minutes. If you like your noodles a little more firm, check on them sooner. If you like them more soft, leave them in for a few more minutes.
Step 5: Add Oil and Seasoning
When your noodles are ready to go, pour in the oil and seasoning packets and stir until they’re thoroughly mixed in. Simple as that. Your microwave instant noodles are ready to eat. Just be careful not to burn yourself as the contents will still be hot!
If you want to microwave everything in your ramen noodle soup cup:
- Add warm water up to the fill line inside the noodle cup.
- Microwave on high until boiling (for 1100 watts, typically 1 minute and 30 seconds) but stop the time before the water boils over.
- Carefully remove the cup from the microwave, and stir in the oil and seasoning packets.
- Stir thoroughly, and cover with a plate or piece of foil.
- Let it sit for about 6 minutes; adjust for more or less time depending on whether you like your noodles firm or soft.
How to Microwave Some Mighty Good Ramen: Pillow Pack
Step 1: Prep Your Noodles
Open your pillow pack, and set aside the packets of oil and seasoning for later. Place your noodles in a separate bowl and prepare your water.
Step 2: Boil Water
In a microwave-safe glass container (preferably with a handle) boil 1-2 cups of water on the highest setting for about 3 minutes.
Step 3: Cook Your Noodles
Carefully remove the boiling water from the microwave (using an oven mitt or a pot holder) and pour it into your bowl of noodles, until you reach the desired amount of broth.
Step 4: Let Them Sit
Stir gently, and then cover your bowl of noodles with a plate or some tin foil. Let this sit for about 6 minutes.
Like we mentioned above, if you like your ramen more firm and chewy, check on the noodles sooner. If you like them more soft and gooey, leave them in for a few more minutes.
Step 5: Add Oil and Seasoning
When your noodles are finished, pour in the oil and seasoning packets, and stir until they’re mixed in. Your pillow pack ramen is ready to eat! microwave instant noodles are ready to eat. Be careful not to burn yourself - contents will still be hot!
