Mike’s Mighty Good vs. The Rest: What Sets Our Craft Ramen Apart
If you flip over one of our Bone Broth ramen cups, you’ll notice something right away: real bone broth is our #2 ingredient. Not “natural flavor.” Not “chicken-style seasoning.” Actual chicken or beef bone broth, right at the top of the list where it belongs.
That matters—because in most instant ramens that say “chicken” or “beef” on the front, you won’t actually find chicken or beef in the ingredients. It’s usually a mix of artificial flavors and flavor enhancers doing the heavy lifting. And in the rare cases where meat does show up? It’s often tucked away at the very bottom of the ingredient list in tiny amounts. The name on the package sounds hearty and real. The label tells a different story.
We built ours differently on purpose.
Instant ramen hasn’t really changed much in decades. Most brands still follow the same formula: deep-fried noodles, palm oil, added MSG, TBHQ, and ingredient lists that feel more like a chemistry experiment than real food. It’s convenient, sure—but it’s not exactly something you’d feel good eating every day, or serving at your table.
Mike’s Mighty Good started with a different idea: we strive to make broths that taste as if they were made in a kitchen rather than a factory. That’s the approach that sets us apart from the rest of the aisle.

Most instant ramen uses deep-fried noodles made with conventional wheat. We took the opposite route: organic, steamed noodles made from North American organic wheat, crafted in small batches. Recently, we improved them so they cook faster—ready in about 4 minutes—and create a more filling, more voluminous bowl than before. It’s the same craft noodle texture we’re known for, just upgraded for modern cooking habits.
Alongside that, we’ve always been palm-oil free. While most brands lean heavily on palm oil for cost and convenience, we’ve never included it. All Mike’s Mighty Good products are palm oil-free. More recently, we introduced seed-oil-free chicken bone broth ramen. Clean ramen should stay clean.
Ingredients matter beyond the noodles, too. Many instant ramen brands still rely on ingredients you can't pronounce that have little to do with real food. We avoid that. Our recipes use organic ramen noodles and we strive to make the highest quality broths using ingredients like bone broth, antibiotic-free chicken ingredients, and organic coconut MCT oil.

Taste is where the difference becomes obvious. Most instant ramen broths are thin and overly salty. Ours are built with depth and balance. People notice the difference immediately, whether they try our vegan options, our bone broth range, or one of our classic flavors.
Speaking of bone broth, we have a range of bone broth flavors: Chicken, Beef, and Pork bone broth ramens. Our chicken bone broth cup is made with antibiotic-free chicken ingredients.
Parents tell us they feel good giving Mike’s Mighty Good to their kids.

Our approach extends beyond the bowl. Our cups are made from paper sourced from sustainably managed forests, and our products are assembled with the use of solar power. Using North American organic wheat for our noodles also contributes to this effort, keeping transportation impacts lower and supporting more responsible farming practices. These choices reflect the same care we put into the ingredients themselves—they’re part of the story behind every bowl.
We’re not just trying to provide quick noodles. We’re bringing the spirit of a craft ramen shop straight to your kitchen. Delicious broths and organic noodles that taste restaurant-quality, ready in minutes. Our recipes help you build gourmet, ramen-shop-style bowls at home—without long cooking times or complicated steps. Add vegetables, an egg, or follow one of our community recipes and make it your own.

We’re constantly refining ingredients, testing new broths, and upgrading processes. Our goal is simple: instant ramen that people feel good eating and can feel good giving to others. It’s not a compromise between convenience and quality—it’s both.
When you put it all together, the gap between “us” and “them” is clear: organic steamed noodles versus deep-fried ones, palm-oil-free recipes, seed-oil-free varieties, bone broth options, antibiotic-free chicken ingredients, cups from sustainably managed forests, and flavors that you'll crave again and again.
Mike’s Mighty Good is instant ramen—but it’s a craft version you haven’t seen before. Crafted to bring the quality, care, and flavor of a ramen shop into your home. Once you taste the difference, going back to typical instant noodles just doesn’t make sense.
