How to Make It

Step 1: Cook the ramen noodles
Start by boiling the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once they’re done, set them aside, along with the soup base and seasoning oil.

Step 2: Cook the steak
Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes. Heat a bit of oil in a pan and brown the steak on all sides. Once it’s done, set it aside.

Step 3: Sauté the vegetables
In the same pan, add a little more oil and sauté the garlic, sliced onion, red and green peppers, and green onions until they’re soft and fragrant — about 4–5 minutes.

Step 4: Add the noodles and sauce
Return the steak to the pan and add in the cooked ramen noodles. Pour in the dark soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and the Mike's Mighty Good soup base and seasoning oil. Stir everything to combine, letting the sauce coat the noodles and vegetables. Cook for another minute or two, just until everything is heated through.

Step 5: Serve
Top your ramen with extra chopped green onions and serve right away. If you want a bit more kick, add a little more black pepper on top.

A Few Notes

  • Choose a steak you like, but flank steak or sirloin tends to work well for this kind of dish.

  • Feel free to adjust the black pepper to your liking. This is a pepper steak, after all.

  • No fresh peppers? Use frozen bell peppers as a quick substitute.

  • If you’re looking for a bit of extra flavor, a drizzle of chili oil over the top can add a nice kick.
