This recipe is the one featured on the packaging of our new flavor, so it's the perfect ramen recipe for all the brisket lovers out there. Topped with a perfect ramen egg, sauteed Napa cabbage, fried garlic, and of course, brisket, this bowl will have you looking like a chef.

Begin by bringing 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot. Once the water is boiling, add the contents of your Mike's Mighty Good Beef Brisket Ramen package, including the broth base and ramen noodles. Allow it to cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the noodles are tender. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Thinly slice your pre-cooked beef brisket and set it aside for later. If you don't have pre-cooked brisket on hand, you can easily cook it yourself following your preferred method.

Next up, egg time! Fill a small saucepan with water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, carefully add your egg and reduce the heat to a gentle simmer. Cook the egg for about 6-7 minutes for that perfect soft-boiled consistency. Once done, remove the egg and place it in a bowl of cold water to cool. Once cooled, peel the egg and slice it in half.

Saute the Napa cabbage in a drizzle of olive oil until tender but slightly crisp. Add whole cloves of garlic to the pan and sauté them until they become fragrant and slightly golden brown. This will infuse your oil with a delicious garlicky aroma that will elevate your ramen's flavor. 

Assemble your ramen bowl with all the toppings you just prepared, and finish with a flourish of green onions and sesame seeds.

Serve the ramen hot, encouraging everyone to mix their toppings into the soup to infuse it with the various flavors before eating. You can also offer soy sauce, sesame oil, or hot sauce on the side for individual seasoning. Enjoy your delicious and comforting bowl of beef brisket ramen!

Ingredients

• 1 package of Mike's Mighty Good Beef Brisket Ramen

• 1/4 lb of cooked beef brisket, thinly sliced

• 1 large egg

• 1/4 cup of napa cabbage, chopped

• 2-3 cloves of garlic, peeled and whole

• 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil or another high-smoke-point oil

• 1 green onion, finely chopped, for garnish

• Optional: sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions

1. Prepare the Ramen: Cook the ramen according to the package instructions. Transfer the noodles and broth into a large bowl and set aside.

Toppings:

1. Brisket: If your brisket isn't already cooked, season it with salt and pepper, and cook it on a preheated grill or in the oven until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Allow it to rest before slicing it thinly. If your brisket is pre-cooked, simply slice it thinly.

2. Egg: In a pot of boiling water, gently lower the egg using a spoon. Cook the egg for 6-7 minutes for a soft, slightly runny yolk, or 9-10 minutes for a hard yolk. Once done, transfer the egg to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Peel the egg and slice it in half.

3. Napa Cabbage: In a small saucepan, add a drizzle of oil and sauté the chopped napa cabbage on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, or until tender but still slightly crisp. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, then remove from heat and set aside.

4. Fried Garlic: In a small skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the whole garlic cloves and fry them, stirring frequently, until they turn golden and crispy. This should take around 2-3 minutes. Remove the garlic from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

5. To the bowl of ramen, add the sliced brisket, placing it on one side of the bowl. Add the sautéed napa cabbage next to the brisket. Place the egg halves in the bowl. Sprinkle the fried garlic cloves over the top of the ramen. Garnish with chopped green onions and optionally, a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

6. Serve the ramen hot, encouraging everyone to mix their toppings into the soup to infuse it with the various flavors before eating. You can also offer soy sauce, sesame oil, or hot sauce on the side for individual seasoning.
