Miso Butter Kimchi Ramen
Treat yourself with this simple Miso Butter Kimchi Ramen recipe. It's rich, savory, slightly sweet, and tangy with a kick of spiciness from the kimchi. The butter and miso create a luxurious and velvety texture, while the mushrooms and green onions provide earthiness and freshness.
Start by following the cooking instructions on the MMG kimchi ramen noodles package, setting aside the flavor packets. Drain the noodles and set them aside.
In a medium-sized pot or deep skillet, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add finely chopped garlic and let it sizzle for about 30 seconds until it becomes fragrant. Then, stir in the 1 tablespoon of miso paste. This step will create a rich and savory base for your ramen.
Add your assorted mushrooms to the pot. You can use shiitake, cremini, or any other mushrooms you prefer. Sauté them with the miso-butter mixture for about a minute until they start to soften and release their savory aroma.
Add the MMG kimchi soup base and seasoning oil. Stir everything together, toss in the chopped kimchi, then gently incorporate your cooked ramen noodles into the mix. After a couple of minutes, top off your Miso Butter Kimchi Ramen with some fresh green onions.
