Imagine yourself, after a long day, treating yourself to this delicious pan-seared bourbon infused ponzu chicken topped over our delicious chicken craft ramen. Perfectly crisp, juicy and tender chicken pairs oh so perfectly with our fried garlic instant ramen with organic noodles. Sit back, and slurp up the magic in this craft ramen bowl.
Bring a pot of water to boil. Once water is boiling, reduce to a simmer and lower in egg gently. Set a timer for 6 minutes. Once timer goes off, run egg under cold water for 1 minute. Peel, cut in half and set aside.
While the egg is cooking, lightly season chicken with salt and pepper.
Place chicken in pan skin side down and turn on the heat to medium. This will take about 5 minutes. Turn up heat to high and cook for another 3 minutes, until golden brown.
Flip the chicken over and cover the pan. Cook this side of chicken for 5 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked.
Flip chicken to skin side down again and brown for 2 more minutes until the skin is crisp.
Chop up green onions. Use a sheer and run it down the green onion lengthwise for ribbons. Be gentle and careful with this.
Drizzle ponzu sauce over the chicken and reserve extra as a dipping sauce.
Cook ramen according to package instructions.
Transfer ramen to a bowl. Top it off with ponzu chicken, green onions, your perfectly gooey soft boiled egg, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Enjoy!
